3D Print and Display have produced holograms and lenticular photographs for books, brochure covers and magazines. The example given here was for "Light up Your Life" - a children's book on all things to do with Light.

The author came our Richmond Upon Thames studios, and using our VIP, (Video Linear Rail with Perspective) 3D imaging system camera, a fully three dimensional animated sequence of frames was grabbed directly into the computer.

The images were manipulated in Adobe After Effects and a lightning effect added to the frames such that it appears to come from the authors finger.

The hologram is positioned on the back of the book, replacing a conventional portrait, to make the image come alive.
